It is widely recognised that good preparation is essential for teachers, house parents, family tutors or other MK staff workers. School directors around the world recognise the value of specialist training to understand the unique nature of TCKs, their family situations and the schools they study in. The difference between those who have done a course like this and those who haven’t is often very apparent when new staff arrive. This training is currently just one of three inter-mission PFO courses around the world. Planning and preparation are keys to a successful experience.
