If you're based in the UK you'll have seen the rate of Insurance Premium Tax increase to 12% in the last budget. This means the rate has gone up by 100% in just over 18months. It is likely that IPT could catch up with VAT at 20% as it is already in some European countries. I'm running a campaign to exempt charities from this tax.
