  • Hi!

My husband and I are in our 40s and have two kids 11 and 8. I have been a Christian for over 20 years (Muslim background before that). The past couple of years I have felt the Lord directing us to move to the UK and for me to move into full time ministry of some kind. I don't know what exactly but I have a lot of transferable skills from volunteer ministry leading, engineering, teaching and multimedia design business. Bottom line is I am willing to use it all my skill as I figure out what is next. The last time I felt the lord wanting me to do something so strongly, I started a children ministry program in our neighbourhood with a church beside our house that was not my church. The program is on pause at the moment due to covid restrictions. At this very moment a lot of things have been placed on pause in my life and since I am home schooling our kids it seems like we just have to take the leap of faith and check things out. My husband is not as excited about a move as he loves his job but he has a list that I am trusting God will deliver on or a change of perspective if this is what he really wants us to do. Anyhow, moving with kids could be challenging and it might have to happen in stages for us since we have a whole life in east coast Canada. Would love to have some mentors for sure that would come along side of us in prayers and guidance. Preferably some in UK as I have a few already in Canada. Thank you so much for reading this post and for this community!
