Tip: Biscuits and Cereals gone soft?

In humid climates it doesn't take long for 'crunchy' things like biscuits and cereals to go soft. The two choices are either eating limp cornflakes or feeding them to the animals (and I'm not talking about the children here!). Alternatively, spread them on a baking tray and put them in a hot oven for a few minutes. They'll soon dry out and taste as good as the day you opened them (well, nearly).
