Does anyone have any experience of people needing private medical insurance (to cover the costs of their ongoing otherwise stable health conditions) while they are overseas? For instance, diabetic treatment costs are covered by the NHS but privately they are going to be in the £1000s. Might a private medical scheme be the answer? Any ideas?
