We've hit so many frustrating barriers to developing an easy to use and process donation system, I suspect foul play on the part of the enemy!

Secondly, if you have any insight, we are looking for a system that allows people to:
- give to OMF, OMF ministries and people. That basically means passing a free text field through our system to the transaction handling service (Sagepay), so our finance team know where they should allocate the funds.
- We are experimenting with a hack to a Magento shop, but Sagepay rejects a 0 price item. (Message me if you want to take a look at where we're at).
- We have tried third party solutions (Just giving etc, but none allow a free text instruction for the allocation.)
- Have you seen anyone's site that does this?

Why do you want a zero price item?
I was asked to research an alternative and what I looked into briefly was what Worldpay could offer, though I didn't got into the detail, so I don't know if a free text field was possible. I can see that it's straightforward as most e-commerce is based around buying fixed things.
That's really helpful. Is there a link to your donation page?
The 0 priced item was a hack, as there is a plugin to Magento to add a donation to your basket. It needs a product to hang it on to, hence a 0 priced item.
