Are you looking for a mentor or are you willing to be one?

If you are looking for a mentor, perhaps because you are new to mission, or new to the mission field, or just looking for a mentor with mission experience, browse down our list of volunteer mentors and feel free to contact any of them by private message (click on their name, then select 'Send a message' at the top left of their profile).

If you are willing to be a mentor because you have mission experience and are willing to offer yourself as a mentor for others, please introduce yourself in the 'Introductions from those willing to mentor' discussion below.

Missionaries within the OSCARactive community will then be able to contact you directly and both parties can discuss the possibility and suitability of forming a mentoring partnership. If you don't feel equipped to offer to mentor the particular person who contacts you, please consider praying for them until a more suited mentor is found.

Greetings all, OSCAR team. I believe my call is focused towards China. However, in the process of reaching that place, seeking with Jesus a possible employer in that region in order to serve as tentmaker, Our Lord has given me a feeling of working out a marketing propposal concerning the Middle East for this firm, to show myself accountable anywhere. Please allow this dream of our's in your prayer's list.

I am serving in Mission as pastor and social worker in India. As the Lord has given me people to lead there are many times and situations when I look for and wish to have a mentor. Any one wants to be my mentor for the mission work in India I would be glad.

Hello Daniel!

Not sure if you have received an answer from anyone on the forum about this. I speak Spanish, have been in missions since Jan 1977 and would be delighted if I might be able to help out with anything. I travel a lot to remote places (offline) and, if you can put up with that intermittence occasionally, I'm fine to chat ...

God bless.

Bryan

Thank you Ceri, I would like to have a mentor...to go over someone´s  experience in the field. I guess it's a beautiful chance given by The Lord for several of us who might be concerned about missions and lack of something, which the Lord has & gives abundantly.
