The village i worked in Burma, (J.W,) the children in the home read their Bibles by candle light. many accidents caused by this and I saw many victim's of burns in the clinic, often children. Commonly mosquito nets catch light

    Yes, definitely, we did give all the kids wind up torches and tried to take away the candles but the local workers overseeing kept giving them candles so they could keep the torches for 'an emergency' the frustrations of asia!!

    wow, I think this photo speaks volumes, would you say then that it would be helpful for those distributing Bibles to investigate if there is a need for them to be accompanied by wind-up torches?
